This happened to my dog a month ago-- also an Aussie mix. It grew seemingly overnight in the same area. Please, please, please get her a biopsy and do it ASAP! There is a type of very quickly spreading cancer that fits this description--but one can't know without having a biopsy done if it is benign or malignant. Biopsies are rather expensive, but need to be done immediately (if it is cancerous) and you want to try to save her. Your options could be being eliminated the longer you wait.
Your local humane society may be able to assist you with a voucher to help you pay the vet if you can't afford it all on your own, and you meet their income level requirements. If not, perhaps they can reccomend other avenues, for instance some vets are willing to donate certain amounts of their time for people with low incomes, and have special times available for such circumstances. At the worst, you may be able to find one who will allow you to make payments, though this may prove more difficult.

She looks like a lab/pit bull combination... her ears and chest are way too fluffy for a organic bred pit bull. Why do no longer you want to take her to the vet? in case you probably did no longer want to seem after her, you may no longer are transforming into a pup. Get her some scientific interest so which you be attentive to what's incorrect along with her. you may't purely manage a 'super lump' by ability of finding up random issues on line

WOW. Alot of older dogs have "lumps" appear outta nowhere. I would seriouslly take her to the vet to be looked at. There the vet could test the lump to see what it is. It my just be a growth that can be removed or it may be a serious problem. I suggest making an appt with the vet 1st thing monday morning!
Good luck!

Sounds like a cyst but Id take her to the vet.
I have an 11yr old German Shepherd and she gets these but not quit that large. They cause her no pain.
Good luck

Oh my, see the vet soon - it is probably a tumor. Our dog had an enlarged stomach and found out she had liver cancer. It's very sad but at your dog's age possible. :(
