Normal can't really be defined these days. How about a "typical" relationship? A "typical" relationship is probably not the kind of relationship you want. Very few people that I know really have good relationships, so shoot for exceptional.

What is normal? I would say a normal relationship is one with communication, trust, and LOVE. If you can talk to this person and trust the person then I would say you have a normal relationship. However, in a lot of the question and answers It looks like this is not a normal description of a relationship due to lot of negativity in people's lives. I think if you have the relationship qualities that I have listed above then, you better hold on to it and cherish it. Take care

How about "Ideal" relationship: friendship, love, understanding, and communication. Throw in partnership and Honesty, too.
I don't think anyone can claim to define "normal".
