CEM knows what he/she is talking about! I think you are having a revelation. There is no way that there isn't a god, for example: how didi we get here. some of evolution makes since (survival of the fittest etc.) but there is no way it could have started on its own. The complex cell structure of the first singled cell lifeform in the theory of evolution, could never have happened because there are too many atoms that would have to be in just the right place to create that perfect little germ, it could never happen, statistically speaking. If we didn't evolve then how did we get here: GOD.

you have either 1. hit your ultimate low and are looking for superstitious ways to get out of a seemingly endless slippery slop of bad luck or misfortune or 2. you are having a psychotic break and your mind is looking for any possible explainations for recent events.

bottom line. this is where the god trickery will really kick ya, when you hit your lowest, the only way to go is up. people get fooled into the god thing when they start believing at an all time low, cause then it creates the illusion that their believing in GOD is the reason they are picking up from their low.

also being raised with it is another trick. braindwashing. etc..
hell you could raise a kid to believe star wars is real. they will believe anything.

Neither, you just finally figured it out.

Einstein finally believed in God. Not because of a "blind faith", but because the world is so incredibly perfect. A greater energy, or creator had to create everything. Who created the big bang? If you believe in that nonsense.
Now I don't believe in the Chrisitan fairy tale that the world was created 6,000 years ago or whatever, thats nonsense.
I also don't picture a Christian God with a white beard and flowing beard either.
Nobody knows what God, or the creator looks like, and it really doesn't matter when you come down to it either.

I read all 18 answers before I answered. You received a few good ones and a lot of trash. I feel sorry for the people that just write garbage to see it in print.

All of a sudden you say. Our Heavenly Father is the only one who can lead His Saviour to you so as to allow you to make a choice. If Father did this, He has plans for you and you are indeed blessed.

God is wanting you to decide whether or not you will accept His Son, the Word of God, Jesus Christ. Did you know that God's Sons name is The Word of God?

The reason we are all here in this World Age is to choose Jesus Christ or not. We have no other choice. Its through Jesus Christ that we can approach the Father in prayer and gain salvation. I for one am looking forward to my rewards in Heaven when God is done using me for His service here on Earth.

I do hope you make the right decision and accept Jesus Christ as God's Saviour. Doing so will instantly change you into a new creation in Christ Jesus the Lord. Now you will be part of the Body Of Christ.><>

All of the sudden. For no apparent reason. Not having any other problems? Ask yourself "Why am I believing all of the sudden?" and answer yourself honestly. If you literally woke up one morning believing when before you didn't, and nothing else weird is going on in your life, I'd say you need to see a shrink, pronto!

Think about this for a moment.

There is no proof or evidence of a God. The only thing people have towards having a belief in god is faith in superstitions.

If you believe in God without any evidence, nor any proof, and gather your faith from superstitions then you clearly have lost touch with reality.

a revelation

it may appear to be a psychotic break since everything rearranges

but people having psychotic breaks normally aren't aware that that is what is happening to them

All of a sudden? Sounds like your newfound faith might be as solid as a playing-card castle. If you're interested in God, put some foundations upon that faith of yours. Best of luck with that.
