That is like asking how do you wipe out Office XP and install Microsoft Works. You will need to reformat your hard drive because XP Home will see another operating system (XP Pro) in your computer and not install itself over the top of Pro. I just do not see another way.

uhmmm



put in your xp disc, restart ur pc. hit F2 until the bios menu comes up. make the boot priority set as 1. CD 2. hard drive 3. w/e
then save and exit
then restart ur pc and when the lil white letters say "press any key to boot off disc" hit any key. the rest is straight foreward, delete ur old existing partition and create a new one then yea... its all pretty easy

if you do not know what you are doing, you should take it to fry's or some place like that and have them help you with that. otherwise you can risk messing up your computer.
my dad tried to uninstall windows 98 and installing the xp version. and it messed everything up. he had to take it in to get it fixed.
