Should we leave Iraq and let the UN & Arab League takeover the military aspect of the country
We need to pull out and let the UN the Arab League and a small contingent of US forces in Iraq take over. ...

As long as we are there we attract terrorist that say Iraq is a puppet state of the US ... like moths to a light we attract terrorist
In 2004 240,000 Iraqis left Iraq for Jordan or Syria
in 2005 400,000 Iraqis immigrated
In 2006 so far over 800,000 have immigrated they are leaving their own country because they are afraid to live there ... something other than status quo has to be done!

If the USA leaves by the way, who will provide the military muscle for a UN/Arab League mission???
The Europeans...dont be stupid. Most of them (even the British) are just itching to get out and be done with it.
The Russians...they have about as bad a rap as the USA when it comes to occupations...also a stupid idea.
The Chinese...I dont think so either. How will they get there (they dont exactly have friends who can give them a lift)
The Arabs...sure send more people who hate the Shiites and Kurds... just plain useless.
If the USA has to leave it can only be the Iraqis (Sunni, Shiite and Kurd) who must continue the fight against the terrorists. The USA has to help these guys get their act then leave immediately, thats the only really reasonable and more effective solution now.

Shia's have been dominated by the Sunni minority for decades. The Sunnis can give that domination up. That's the cause of the unrest.

Great Question! I agree completely. Our presence in the middle east attracts terrorists like flies! I think we should leave all bases in the Middle East, though. Al Qaeda says it was our bases in Saudi Arabia that caused them to fly planes into buildings on 9/11. Why do we need to be there? How are we any different from the colonizing Europeans if we have bases over there just like they did?
Also, we should stop giving foreign aid to both Israel and the arab nations. The muslims hate us because we support Israel. The palestinians have suffered terribly due to the Israel's actions. Why do we need to be known as the people that made all their misery and death possible? Israel has spied upon us. What allegiance do we owe them?
The Israelis are tough. They don't need our help. They're not pansies. Make them do it on their own.
The key to making the muslims forget about us is to stop having to be involved in every little event that goes on over there. They will have no time to bother us if we leave the Middle East.

The UN is the most useless organization Ever they cant Wipe their own @ss with both hands. And as far as the Arab League Arabs has had thousands of years to get up to par and the still live in tents and ride Camels. That would be a case of the Stupid leading the useless .

My plan is better. Let all of the Iraqis leave and migrate to Russia and China and, oh yes, North Korea. Allow the leftists from the USA migrate to Iraq and take over. Some of them could go to Iran.
