Stella cadente means " falling star" (The star is falling/dying) so it can describe someone who has risen to the top and is begging, but it isn't used a lot to express what do you want! Maybe It is better "Meteora", but it is used to say someone had a period of success in the past and now he haven't it. Sorry for my English

Your translations are literal, but make no sense in Italian...
There's no such expression in my language, whereas in French, for example, it's the same thing as English ('tomber amoureuse').

I fall in love = mi innamoro
to fall in love = innamorarsi
I'm in love with you= sono innamorata di te

Anche se non esiste una traduzione alla lettera vuol dire + o -
mi stò innamorando . C'è una bella canzone in inglese che s'intitola così e la cantava Ella Fitzgerald.

mi innamoro .... "io cado nell'amore " has no sense in Italian,is just translated by some programs...
