You could buy me a car... But in all seriousness, it's not the nationality of the car that makes the difference, it's the make. I strongly recommend against buying a Ford or Ford-owned car model because they often times have parts that are rather expensive for American cars and aren't as reliable as they claim (including Volvo, Jaguar, Ford, Mercury, etc.) GM is a good company, which includes Saturn, Saab, Chevy, GMC, Cadillac, etc. In terms of foreign cars, Mercedes, BMW and Toyota are all good choices. Toyota's engines are some of the longest-lasting engines on the market, save some GM models. If you are buying an SUV, go for Toyota or GMC. If you are looking for a compact, consider the Toyota Prius or a Chevrolet model. Mid-size Chevy and Toyota models are also good, but if you can afford a low-end BMW or Mercedes, you might be a little happier, considering your budget. Aim for good safety ratings, like Saturn, GMC, Toyota, and go for what you need more than anything, but don't consider your choices based on what country they come from. Let me know if you find an extra 25-35,000 lying around somewhere.

It really depends on what you like in terms of reliability, styling, quality, image, and resale value. If reliability and/or quality are most important to you, then a Japanese car is the best choice. If styling and image are more important to you, then a German, British, or even a French car might appeal to you. Japanese and German cars tend to do better in resale value than do other cars. Unfortunately, American cars are still behind the offerings from other countries in all these categories. In any case, in order to solicit better answers, you need to be more specific about your needs (e.g., are you looking for an SUV, sedan, coupe, convertible, stationwagon, or mini van?)

I would strongly recommend you to buy a Japanese-made car,
like Toyota Camry or Honda Accord, because they are very
reliable, stylish, high performance, economical in fuel intake, good safety features, good resale value, easy service and maintenance and last but not least cheaper in price compared to European or American cars.
Don't wait any further. Get one today!

Well, the first thing you want to ask yourself is what are you looking to do with the car? Cruise in style, speed and trick out, or just a family car. I would say overall to get a BMW. The new 5 series is under 30K, and you would have to do much to it cause it's already a fast and luxurious car. Japanese cars would be next , cause they are fuel efficient. Then I would go to American cars cause pretty much we suck on vehicles. BMW's have better engines, run longer, and are naturally faster

Before u buy a car just think about the cost of repairs when it needs to be fix. All imports parts are very expensive but some are very good cars. You will spend more money on parts and labor before you realize your car is not paid off or spend the amount you originally paid for it to get fix. American car parts are cheap in the U.S you don't have to worry about spending alot of money to fix it

I'd go with Honda or Chevy. Those cars seem to go on for ever Stay away from Ford. Unless you buy a truck.

If you want reliability, choose Japanese car.
The style of European's is nice.
If you wanna save your money, how about Hyundai, Korean car.
I think the quality is so so today.

If Chevys are still made as the ol' 2.8V6 or 3.1Fi Cavalier, then go for it. You can also think about a Honda or a Toyota

JAPANESE.

Remember: When the Apocalypse comes and the world as we know it ends, the only things that will be left standing will be cockroaches, Aerosmith, and Hondas and Toyotas. No lie. :)
