Hello everyone. I am currently a green card holder, but studying in Japanese University. Since I'll be studying here for two years, I applied for the re-entry permit and already recieved the document from the US customs.
Now, my question is, if I go back home in the US for a holiday or something, will I lose the re-entry permit at the moment I enter the US or can I use it more than one time(meaning come back to the US using the same one without applying for a new permit everytime) if it's within two years?
I wasn't sure about this so I decided to ask here. Any response would be appreciated. Thanks.

It is probably not wise to ask questions about immigration issues here. It's best to check the officials. I think I read about it and you have to renew every year but you have to confirm that.

This is an excellent question! But you do need to ask the folks who are most likely to know. The number is 1 (800) 375-5283,
and call during working hours since the automated menu will probably not be able you help you with this.
