Be right back. I am going to pray for you before I write.
The fact that you have even asked this question is beautiful because it reveals your heart's desire to KNOW THE LORD MORE.
You have also acknowledged that you are hurting and you know that Jesus can heal your hurts. This is an example of FAITH IN JESUS. [Proverbs 3:5-6 and Psalm 91:1-2 and Psalm 42:5]
Now, I am not going to write out the verses here, because I believe that it will do your heart well to search them and read them for yourself, but the Lord has laid upon my heart to share with you about the following things.
FORGIVENESS OF OTHERS [Ephesian 4:31-32 and 1 Corinthians 13:5 along with Matthew 6:14-15] (As you may need to forgive your boyfriend for breaking your heart) that a...
ROOT OF BITTERNESS [ Hebrews 12:15] is not able to take shape inside of you.
TRUSTing [ Proverbs 3:5-6 and Psalm 37:7] Jesus to heal your hurts and any CONFUSION you might have over this matter in your life while...
LAYING YOUR WORRIES AND CARES AT THE FOOT OF THE CROSS [Matthew 6:26, 28 and Phil. 4:6-7 and 1 Peter 5:6-7] where Jesus can take them away forever more that you might be able to find...
CONTENTMENT and HOPE[ 1 Timothy 6:6 and Psalm 146:5-6 and1 Peter 1:3] in your heavenly Bridegroom, Jesus Christ.
In every thought and deed, bring it all before the Lord right now. He knows what you are going through and knows your heart at this very moment and has not left you alone in your suffering.
If you have sins of your own to confess, now is the time to do this. He is there, ready to forgive you that you might know eternal life and a peace which surpasses all understanding.
~~~Seeking Forgiveness: [Psalm 51:5 and Romans 3:9-12 and John 8:34-36]
~~~Salvation: [Ephesians 2:8-9, John 3:14-16 and Romans 5:8 and of course Romans 10:9-13]
~~~Peace: [Romans 5:1]
Continue to seek His face and let His glory shine in this, your hour of seeming darkness, for He alone is Lord and longs to comfort you in your sorrow.
God loves you and if you don't have a Bible of your very own, I would be so blessed to send you one. I could even send it in care of a local church near you so that you don't have to give a stranger your address. ---Elaina
Your heart and emotions have to be ok before you decided to start a new relationship. You need to turn your life over to God, by reading your bible by developing a relationship with God. When you feel down pray and ask God for help them him about whatever your going through. I promise you'll feel better. I understand about your heart being broken, I have went through it. It took me a while to feel better about my situation. My self esteem was low and I depended on a guys attention to feel better about myself. When the guy was gone I was alone but, I wasn't I turned my life over to God and I formed a relationship with God. Then I felt better about myself and everything changed.
I would like to encourage you to read Isaiah chapter 53 . If your not in a church get in one.I'd recommend the Assembly of God but you pray and let God lead.Tell the Pastor that you would like a visit with him and his wife.Open up your heart to them , nothing you could say will shock them.I promise you will find help and gain the peace you deserve. I'll keep you in my prayers and pray for you right now . God Bless.
When one knows that doing things to obey God is the only way that a deed is counted and accepted and written in the book of good deeds.
One must believe in God correctly - not attributing to Him unbefitting attributes - and one must believe in His Messengers.
The one who loves his Creator will be thankful for every single blessing he was given and will use those blessings to do obedience and worship to his creator.
It's not what happens to you in life that makes the difference. It is how you react to each circumstance you face that determines the end result. Every human being who has ever gone through a situation such as yours, either can react in a positive or negative way.
I believe in miracles, my definition of a miracle is a beautiful act of God that intervenes in a human life to do a wonderful thing. If you have a problem in your life, that's exactly where God wants to work. But it takes two to make a miracle. God cannot use His miracle-working power in your life if you do not have faith to let Him work. His power can be limited by our lack of faith.
When we have a lack of faith, we tend to look at the negative influences in our life and not at the possibilities. God often seeks to reach us in a moment of pain. He allows us to run into stress-filled situations to slow us down. He wants us change our direction. In every situation, He wants to help us to become strong. For it is not the mountain that counts, it's what you do with it that counts. Problems always change us, they will either make us bitter, tough, hard, cold and angry or they will turn us into a soft, gentle, compassionate, understanding, generous human being. The choice is usually ours.
Depending on how we react to our problem, with God's help we can determine the outcome. We can turn our problem into triumph which will make us stronger. We will also discover that it is God who is the source of our strength and it is God who gives us new joy. ( For the joy of the Lord is your strength! -Nehemiah 8:10)
God never lets anything happen to you unless it is loaded with opportunities. There may be times such as what your going through right now, where your hurting and you may think that there is no hope and you want to throw in the towel. Listen, when you go through the valley of trouble, only God can turn it into a spring of new life! When you know Jesus as your personal Savior, you can conquer any problems. Open up your life to Him so that... you will be filled with His mighty strength, glorious strength so that you can keep going no matter what happens-- always full of the joy of the Lord ( Colossians 1:11)
Honey, this situation does not have to weigh you down, but be strengthened by the tremendous power of God that is within you. Don't allow this experience to control how you react, with God's help you can take back control of your life. Take charge with the attitude that you will overcome and come out on top of this situation victorious. " God is our refuge and our strength, a tested help in times of trouble. And so we need not fear even if the world blows up, and the mountains crumble into the sea!"
( Psalm 46:1,2)
Always remember to " Discover the consciousness that God is in ultimate control of your life and that His will is unfolding as it should "
Become aware that God is in control of your life, that He has a dream for you and it is always constructive, His plan for you is positive which means that if your walking close to Him, you will experience strength and happiness. The most powerful force in the world is a positive attitude in the mind of a believer who is walking close to God.
Strength and happiness are just ahead for you, Keep trusting God. Keep believing. Never give up. God's delays are not God's denials. Your life is unfolding exactly as it should. How do I know? God has promised!
Take the advice of somebody who's been there, that would be the worst mistake of your life. Learn to trust in and rely on your self and you'll never be sorry you did.
