Actually there were Fatwas condemning the terrorist attacks within 24 hours that came from almost every country on the globe.
The Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) issued a Fatwa on September 12th, there was a coalition of Imams in Oman that issued a Fatwa *ON* September 11th.
There are repeated statements coming from Muslim leaders in the United States and other countries unilatirally condemning the terrorists and clearly stating that they are actually working AGAINST Islamic tenets rather than FOR them.

Unfortunately, you failed to do one thing. Separate the two.
There is a difference between common peaceful Muslims who practice their religion and live a moderate Islamic life, and those who consider themselves "freedom fighters" (in the West, they are labeled Terrorists), and are willing to do anything to push their cause, but they happen to be Muslims.
The separation is essential because you have terrorists in all religions. Hitler massacred Jews, he was a Christian terrorist. Some hard-line Zionists are Jewish terrorists. Look at the recent bombing of Lebanon. If that's not terrorism, then what is?

wonder where u people are when we are voicing our views?
for the link of muslims scholars and some clerics condemning terrorism globally please check out this link. but ur blind media would completely ignore this. people want a reason to degrade islam and muslims, so they wont go a couple of steps to get to know the thruth.

its not that muslims are not doing anything, they had rallies in USA on 911 , they rallied and banned DaVinciCode and they have condemed many terrorist attacks, but the media is always hiding things from us. now i wonder why the media would do this, but this is the thruth.

The US military has killed as least 100,000 innocent Iraqi and Afghan civilians via bombings, torture or use of WMDs (Fallujjah), but I haven't heard any apologies for that.
"I won't apologize for America. I don't care what the facts are."

The only one who needed to apologize was Osama bin Laden, the ringleader of the attack. America should be at war with al-Qaeda not every fricking terrorist organization in the world. That's a losing battle which will squander billions. Besides, Bush has done a poor job at securing our borders.

Why are you equating a religion and terrorists? What about the Crusades? And, where's the U.S, apology for the supression of human rights we've been funding and arming in the Middle East since 1948? Why do you let Faux News and politicians spoon-feed you?

The terrorist killings were not Islamic.
Muslims are sorry that they allowed that extremist group to thrive on publicity and represent themselves as Islamic.

leaders of islam should not apologize for what a few muslim nuts did.you dont hear apologies from christian leaders when a christian kills someone do you?some religions fight for censorship and banning things when their religion is laughed at or made the butt of jokes,or talked about for what it really is,other religions are simply out of control,by a few extremists.
