If anyone out there thought it was bad to have US panhandlers asking for money on a busy street corner, now illegals are coming across the border and doing the same thing, anyone that lives near a border town knows it's true,I can understand the reason, since mexico has lost a lot of tourists due to their drug wars and now their president elect wars, the panhandlers from mexico are out of buisness since most of their income came from tourists, why should our own panhandlers also have to take crap from these illegals,is anything sacred anymore?

Nothing is sacred anymore, the mexican panhandlers are a lot sneakier and better at doing it. Americans have no chance at competing, since the mexicans will take a lot less than any self respecting American would. Us Americans demand to get paid at least minimum wage, mexicans will take almost any wage offered to them. Why would bush deport them when all of his friends own businesses that hire illegals? That would be stupid on his part, unless he realized that he has finally pissed off most of America, which can throw his *** out of office, along with all of his lil buddies.

Welcome to Toronto's world. The truth is that the social systems suck in North America. The poor are not truly helped like they should be. Such people should be educated, and housed in appropriate places until they are ready to stand up in society on their own. And most of them must feel that way. If only they had the help.
It's easy to complain about the panhandlers, and not give them any money. But if taxes came about in order to help get those people off the street, a much bigger stink would come about, wouldn't it?
So if you really want them out of your face, become an advocate for the homeless. Help them out, and you and everyone else would be happier.

Lance is wrong. Hispanic panhandlers are all over, usually near churches in my experience. Whether or not they are illegal, I couldn't say.

In my opinion,The war in Iraq and Afghanistan really sent the shock wave to the world and the economy.Mexico or any countries alike are very poor and now they have to do what it takes to be alive.I am not surprised seeing homeless around and they all ask for money while the rest of the world are walking away.I urge you advocate for them and this is an American way of charity at home.

The only reason we have panhandlers of any race, is because we are willing to give them money. If everyone stopped giving panhandlers money I guarantee you they would all disappear.

not everyone can get work here thats just impossible, so in the meantime, hard earned taxdollars are used for the children that they bring here and they never have contributed anything, that is really wrong, i know mexico is a beautiful place, if they knew about business they could bring back their country with exports and use their own farming skills to start it all, why would you abandon youre people? you're way of life? taking care of your family isnt as hard in Mexico as it is in AFRICA!! Their people need to get educated!

Boycott all panhandlers immediately! (Seriously you shouldn't give them money anyway, it would be better served going to a soup kitchen or shelter.)
