We "ALL" use dental floss, except those that have NO natural teeth, but who reuses their OWN used floss, after washing it out two or more times, or better still, reuses it several times WITHOUT washing it out?

How about the convenience of plucking a piece of the floss from one's shirt pocket with one hand; while driving, not having to tear off a piece with two hands, etc? It doesn't have to be an economics issue!
How many of ya'll have "SWAPPED SPIT" with someone....sometimes with practically strangers???

Any of ya'll had a hygenist clean your teeth in the past 30 years? Ours GIVES a FREE package of floss everytime she does a cleaning job. The COST is not the object!!!

I use my dental floss until it starts to shred. Why not, it's not like I have s-h-i-t between my teeth, it's only food particles that are not absorbed by the dental floss. Think about it.

I would think it would still have bacteria (like eating off the same plate and fork just after a rinse) on it no matter how much you cleaned, but go to the dollar tree/dollar store it is too cheap your not saving a million $$$ reusing floss

hehe..well I dont do that because dental floss itself is not highly priced. If you must do it though...be sure to wash the floss off each time you use it or you will just be putting decay back on your teeth.

Well, I've never re-used it before. Why would you want to? It costs like $2 for like 30 yards of it.
If you're looking for alternate uses for dental floss, I hear that some people use it for bathing suits.

Floss becomes worn and less effective - especially the nylon fiber types. New stuff works better (meaning removes buildup and bacteria better).

Just think of all the money you could save doing this. What? 17¢ a month? In a year, you could buy a comic book with all the money you saved.
