me and my boyfriend have been going out for almost a year. i am almost 16 and he is 17. most people think its rediculous but weve already had conversations about a future together. my mom doesnt want me to see him so there has been drama with that but we decided that we were going to stay together anyway. we cant talk as much as we used to but we always find ways and always find ways to see eachother. i saw him on thursday night at his football game but couldnt call him till today. He was at work so he said to call him back at 6 when he had his break and that we needed to talk and that he got off at 10. I called him back at 6 and he said he was going to lunch/dinner with his dad and to call him back at 12. i understand why he wanted me to call him back but why didnt he mention dinner with his dad before and just told me to call back later and why did he say call him back at 12 when he gets off at 10. what did he mean by "we need to talk"

"We need to talk" means "Im about to dump you" or "Youre not gonna like what I have to say" - 100% sure. My guess is - he wasn't with his dad...and my second guess is your mom probably has a real good reason for wanting you to stay away from him - trust your mom.

I don't want to hurt your feelings but the "we need to talk" line has a negative connotation. It usually means that he is getting ready to break up with you. Although there are sometimes when "we need to talk" could actually mean something good, what that something good may be, well that could be just about anything. I don't want to get your hopes up so my suggestion is that you remain optimistic and hope for the best. Sometimes life surprises you at some of the strangest moments!!!

did it happen today? Well anyways, he's probably gonna dump you, that's what happens 75% of the time, but he's probably just gonna talk to you about what he feels about the relationship right now. Don't take my word for it.

I could be completely wrong, but "we need to talk" is the death sentence to any relationship, so I'd brace myself for whatever is getting ready to come.
