i was walkinng through the hallways then this girl came out of her class and we caughht each others eye for about 4-5 seconds (it would be kinda weird but i dont know it seemed subconscious and natural) but then she just flipped her hair and walked away from me... i know i shouldnt read into nonverbal language too much but yeah this one is kicking me

Well you should try it again and see if the same thing happens. If it does then being the bold guy you are and i know that you are go up to her and ask her can the 2 of you talk somewhere. Then when you get her there ask her if she likes you. At that point you will have the answer to your question.

It depends, she could just do that cuz it is natural for every girl to occasionally flip their hair but if she did it in a way that says "in ur dreams" yea no luck for u.

Well, she kept eye contact, which meant she felt no threat, and probable interest, and since you didn't say anything, she thought you were just being strange and gave sort of a "well, I gave you a chance" body language.
