Maybe your body is low on certain vitamins causing you to feel jittery. If you want to try fixing yourself without going to a doctor, I would suggest taking a good multi vitamin every day in the morning with breakfast. If this doesn't help you within 2-3 weeks, then maybe you should see the doc. Adding a good B complex vitamin to your multi vitamin might even be better for you, and the B vitamins get washed out of our system everyday, so you don't have to worry about overdoing the B's. I hope you start to feel better soon.

Hi there, I just laugh about my past 3 years of panic now. I was not able to go anywhere without carrying xanax. Fear of having another attack was the most important subject of my days. When i first found joe barry's web site i started to cry because of my happiness.

first where do you usually have attacks? try having a friend go with you. If it starts take deep breaths count backwards from 50. Try staring at something and describing it in detail. also if inside a building getting outside to the open air helps me alot. good luck.

I too have them. I tried some over the counter meds. LIke St. John worts. But that only worked for alittle while. Your best bet is to go to the drs and have him/her put you on some medicine. I am on Welburtin. It will make a big difference, trust me. Good Luck...

This is well known doctor that I have been seeing in weekly group therapy. He helps with self esteem, panic attacks and phobias! His books are AMAZING and the lectures are even better. Dr. Liebgold is funny, inspirational and right on about fears and anxiety!

breathing into a bag will help with the light headed ness, cover both mouth and nose, and join a therapy group, it took my daughter about two years to get over having a truck hit her car so she could drive again and start leading a normal life, working and all.

I have recently tried a jigsaw puzzle. I believe it is affective. A doctor may want to give you pills. But while that solution should be kept in mind, I think it should be a last resort.

Bach's Rescue Remedy worked for me. It's homeopathic. Or smoke some pot.
