I give my pups low fat plain yogurt, as they are being weaned..I give my adults yogurt if they are having any digestive problems..Rescues, after being dewormed often have sensitive stomachs, and yogurt really helps...If a dog is 'gassy' yogurt will help them digest foods more completely, so they don't stink so often..
Just a spoon on their food....
The enzymes and cultures that make yogurt, break down the lactose, so it is a way that dogs can have dairy products, without the problem of digesting lactose..Lactose is the sugar in milk that makes it hard for dogs to digest..

Yes dogs love yogurt and it is great for their digestive system! Just a small amount (1-2 Tbsp)of PLAIN yogurt a day will keep up it's digestive tract. I have a boxer who has had IBS since he was born and I started giving him yogurt at 8 wks old.(when I adopted him) Whenever I stop giving it to him, before two days is up...he starts having problems again. So, I know that the yogurt works! Also my boxer has lived past his average lifespan even though when I got him at 8 wks old they were going to put him to sleep because of his health problems!! I have found that doing a little research on things that I question and just using common sense has helped me to raise many happy, healthy dogs throughout my life.

You can lead a dog to yogurt but you can't make him eat.

I dont see why you cant, but dogs cannot have certain sweetners and sugar. Have you seen a dog that is hyper from sugar? I have and it was cute but I got told off for doing it!!! Go to the ASPCA website, I am a member and saw an article on something similar once!

Yes, it is good for dogs, specially a pregnant or nursing one. Milk is not good for them but yogurt, cottage cheese and regular cheese are good.

Yes. Yogurt and sour (not curdled) milk help give dogs shiny coats.

No. That will really disrupt the dog's digestion, in a constipation way. Then it'll eventually burst like a dam and you'll be cleaning up a horror show.

Yes you can, but dogs are lactose intolerant so you can't give them milk. Go figure! Goats milk is fine BTW.
