A black man born in the UK may be British but he is not Anglo Saxon. However, Latino is not a race. For example, I am white, I have an Anglo Saxon last name, I live in Latin america as have my ancestors done before me for a bit over a century. Latin America refers to the Spanish speaking american countries. As you might now, Spanish is derived from Latin, the language ancient romans spoke. Mexicans are of different ethnicity than say, Argentinians, who are mainly descendants of white inmigrants since most natives were exterminated in Argentina; they differ from Peruvians; Peruvians from the Coast are of diferrent ethnicity than peruvians from the Andes or from the jungle; in cuba people are a mix of white and blacks; in Mexico they are mix of the local natives (Mayans, Aztecs) and Spaniards. It would more accurate to say, for example, to say Arabs from this country or Jews from this other country. Arabs and Jews are minorities in Latin America. Most people are a mix of Spaniards and the local natives or other race that arrived to South America after the colonization.
