Yes, and no. Occasionally, but no more than most people do...
It sounds to me that this is more symptomatic of a bi-polar disorder.
(Also know as "Manic/Depressive").
You should also check the side-effects for the medication you're on. It could cause confusion.
Don't go with the couple of little lines that the drugstore prints on you prescription.
Ask them for the full pamphlet which will be thin 8.5x11" piece of paper which is attached to the original manufacturers bottle (usually of 100), which they flll you prescription from.
It'll have tiny print on both sides, but it will list all of the side effects - unlike the pharmacy info which usually just lists the most common 2 or 3.
There's a lot of chemical gibberish on there, but I find the symptoms and the dosage sections the most informative.
And, of course ask your doctor.
And as far as the saying or acting things, as my Dad used to say "Engage brain before operating mouth".
You realize you have this problem - which is always a great starting place. Now, you have to train yourself to think before doing. It could be as simple as saying "Just a sec.".

OK I don't know if you are asking if taking the anti-depressants causes you to say things without thinking of the consequences of your actions or not, but here goes;
I take anti depressants and I'm not blurting out things I wish I could take back, well, any more than normally that is :).
Don't blame the pills, count to 5 before you answer and you'll fare better,,,don't talk so much and you're bound to do even better!

Yes, but I don't think it has anything to do with the antidepressant. I take Paxil because I could not stop crying when my daughter moved away from home and it helps with no side effects. But I have always said and done things that I shouldn't have said or done. We all do that. The older I get the more I learn that it is better to listen then to speak and then to chose your words carefully.

Am I human? Yes, Yes, Yes, nobody is perfect. The best thing to do is face it and apologize and try to make up for it and hope time will pass and people will forget. Take notes not to repeat the same mistake, lol

SS is a dumbass. What medical school did you not graduate from SS? You didn't say if you are talking about you, and it is probably related to the person's personality, not the medication- its not like alcohol, it doesn't change your personality.
