I think there is no logical reasoning behind believing in god and it is meant for the people who are internally wicked so that our society improves, but astonishingly these people take advantage of religious and make money from it so if we would have logic we would understand and tried to rectify our deeds but unfortunately we are convinced. Ignore if i am wrong

Please read my words carefully:
If you see footmark in the sand, you'll say that someone passed from here...
If you see a piece of dog sh*t on the ground, you'll say that a dog passed from here...
So what about the enormous universe, the sky, stars, planets, earth and all the beauty in it, doesn't it lead to that someone made it?!!!

Some people say that everything is created by itself after the big-bang... I won't ask you about what caused the big-bang, but I'll ask you a simple question:
If you take all the letters of the alphabet, multiples of them, and you threw them randomly on the floor. Do you expect (by a chance of one in infinity) to get a poem like shakespear's??!!

Can't you see how organized our universe is, the planets, the eco-system on earth, look even in your own body... Can you control your heart-beat? Can you control your breath while you're sleeping? Who stopped your eye-lashes from growing after reaching a certain length? Who told the baby turtles to move towards the sea and not to the earth after they come out of their eggs? Who taught the bird how to make nests?

My friend, think with your heart and brain. If you're still lost, think about the following:

Do you know how to play safe?
Your point:
If there's no God and you do all what you want in life, then nothing will happen to you after life. But if there was God and you were mistaken, then you'll blame yourself FOREVER...

Believer's point:
If there's God and I followed His commands in life, then I'll be in Heaven after life FOREVER. But if there was no God and we're mistaken, then nothing bad will happen to us after life...

Now you know how to play-safe, in case you're not convinced?

well, the belief of god was very much man made. Stretching far back man has created many gods and many have lost their popularity. There is no real difference in this wave of monotheistic gods. None talk directly to their followers, but instead instruct them via a 2000 year old book rewritten and retranslated millions of times.

God(s) have been an excuse from science for a millenia. And way back in the beginning the cavemen wondered what has created the universe. They dreamt up a million gods. As science advanced we lost gods, we learnt the sun was not apollo, but a ball of gas, we learnt thunder was not thor, but a reaction of the clapping of displaced air. Well now is the age of modern science and all gods have been disproved accept the great creator god. But as this god is being disproved to we can hardly accept it and fight tooth and nail against (the ID verse Evolution debate).

Well following patterns I can hardly believe in this god either, nothing makes it different from apollo or zeus. It is the last god on its way to be executed in modern science.

When you consider mystery as natural and vice versa you are bound to get confused! think on the logic behind what you are today from the very initial stage of your birth, when you were in atomic form it will help you to unfold or atleast understand little about what is believed as God! You need not worry about what others are dong with the belief or faith after all it is God who support everybodys existence with certain reason known only to him. You have only two options either believe or dont believe either of them are not going to affect His Truth!

I am convinced by the beauty around me, the spirit of my children, the perfection of a baby's sigh, the giving of yet another day of life to believe in God.

There is a big difference between believing in God and living with God. Believing in God is the product of fear while living with God is the dissolution of fear. If you are living with God nobody can take advantage of you.

Religion is, and has always been, about control. That's why the Church loves children. They're easy to convince - or brain wash. Churches always advertise Vacation Bible School in the summer when kids have more time to get their dose of unreality. Think about it.

I find belief in God to be quite rational and logical. You claim there is not logic in the matter, yet do not offer points as to why. Then you ask those who disagree to ignore your comments.

What's the deal?

of course, people believing in God need other people...

But the reason why people try to convince other people about God is mainly that they want to give a precious thing!

There is plenty of logical reasoning for humans to want to know their history. We are hard-wired that way.
