This is a choice only the two of you can make. You have to decide if it's a relationship that can work. In personal experience with marrying someone that is strongly in a different religion that you are there can be some major conflicts and arguments ahead. If you're willing to become muslim or he/she is willing to become a Christian then your chances are much better for success.

There are a couple of issues here. First The muslim faith and certain christian faiths do not honor a marriage to an infidel.(both religions use this word)The reason for this is that inter-faith marriages have a poor success rate since beliefs dictate our behavior and cause conflict with child raising, discipline, gender issues, and social roles.Second love will not cure all, so it means an abandonning of the faiths to find one they can both agree on and commit themselves to. It is doable but very tough.

I agree with you that yes, it is. From what I understand of Islam, they cannot convert and any Christian that would forsake the rich tradition of Judaic-Christianity and the salvation of Our Lord Jesus Christ and Mother Mary (the mediatress of all grace) just because he/she fell in love with a Muslim is not worthy of the promises of Christ. I guess that would hold true for Islam, as well - not being worthy of the promises of Allah ... yes?

The Bible's New Testament advises followers to "not be unequally yoked". That refers to many possible differences including religion, social class, etc. It is not forbidden.

I believe that the Koran forbids marriage to "infidels".

What is wrong about love? If you think it is then you mustn't love your man. Make sure it is love you are feeling and not a defiance towards your family's beliefs or attention getting. That always leads to heartache, broken families, think things through, how does he make you feel, does he love you. How does he show you how much he cares about you, how do you show him. Love emcompasses all, truel love that is and not the infatuation of being in love you have to know the difference.

Otherwise in the eyes of God....NO...because if God brings a couple together. No man can take them apart.

Marriage between a man and a woman is the will of God.

No, don't think that. Marriage involves love, you know, "...'till death do us part, ... in sickness and in health, ... difference in religion..."Difference in religion can sometimes be a problem though. it's either they have the same religion or have different religion. You know as they say, "Love conquers all!"

No it isn't. People do it all the time. Faith issues get worked out just like anything else. One god, one faith: different takes.
