Men are the dominent sex, and so is their religion. Civilisations are conquered by the best warriors, who are men obviously.

Get real... as has been mentioned, many pagan religions that have been around for centuries are matriarchial.

I'd suggest that there are at least five obvious reasons that men have been running the world all this time:
1. most men in history have arrogantly presumed that women couldn't do it
2. most men wouldn't be content with NOT being considered "dominant"
3. men are trained by society and programmed by nature to be more aggressive and presume that they're the dominant gender and species
4. most of society worldwide is made up of impressionable, conformist people that have such ideas stuck in their heads from centuries of men running things
5. women have never been allowed a chance to show them that there's a better way

What men by and large don't want to consider or admit is that their version of society has sucked a long time in countless ways (war, slavery, racism, crime, politics, villainizing rape victims, criminals' rights outweighing victims' rights, etc.), and women could do it better if we - as a gender - chose to become aggressive enough to TAKE the right and the chance, or if men as a group got smart and humble enough to allow it.

Of course it can survive, but she'll have to submit to Kevin Federline, Bradd Pitt, Sean Connery and Billy Bob...

Considering there are several around that have survived for > 1000 years, that seems a bit of an overstatement.

Christianity is a matriarchal religion.

Jesus is androgynous.

Jesus is teaching from a female viewpoint. His teachings are a counterpoint (mommy) to the masculine Hebrew religion (daddy).

You mean a Goddess religion? Why does God need a gender, anyway? I call God "Creator"... Creatrix...? Oh God, these earthling words are confusing the hell out of me.

Sure they can, and have. Like the worship of Isis.
