I have asked you before what this anti-religious obsession of yours is all about, but I suspect you don't know either.
Anyway, just for the record I presume you are talking about the Sacrament of Penance, Reconciliation, or Confession as it used to be called. Just to bring you up to date. Not only Catholics, but Anglicans, Greek and Russian Orthodox members administer the Sacrament so you are incorrect on count1. The Sacrament can be administered anywhere, out in the open, the confessional, the "wooden box" as you euphemistically call it is a rather out-moded tradition. Incorrect on count 2. As for the last part of the sentence I just think you are deliberately being crass, or speaking from your own experience.
I hope you are relieved of whatever is troubling you.

I am not a Roman Catholic but my wife is. In movies people often make fun of the confession or connect it with bad things but just like most activities of most churches, usually confession is quite helpful to the people who do it if it is done correctly.
What use is it to confess, do a penance and then start doing the same evil thing again? That is not the church's fault if some members are hypocrites.
Priests are often criticized esp. when there is a sexual abuse scandal, but I have known some wonderful priests who do great things for their communities.
The press and media dwell on the negative while the truth is that most sincere people who participate in church activities, do a lot of good works and should be praised not targeted for jokes and abuse.

We examine our consciences and souls, admit our failures and shortcomings, and seek advice to improve ourselves. Incidently, we don't have to use "the wooden box" as you so quaintly put it. We usually use a room, big enough to hold several people, furnished with chairs and a kneeler for those so inclined. Although the confessional, to which you are so crudely referring, is still available to those who prefer, it is not a manditory place for confession. Though I doubt you are genuinely interested in learning anything, looking into the matter in a more in depth manner with a little less sarcasm would do you more good than harm. Best of all, they'll even let you come inside and look for yourself.

It's called a confession box, its where catholics go to tell their sins to the priest and ask the Lord's forgiveness, Then they are given a peneance, It's usually prayer, some people go to confession just to ask for help with their problems.

Why, is that what you do in your spare time? You are not worth an answer. Why don't you ask meaningful questions... perhaps inquiring about the address of a good orthodontist might be a good start.

They actually get together and laugh about the actions of people who don't have anything better to do than post immature, retarded questions that degrade other people.
