My friend wanted my honest opinion why she doesn't keep men for long (she's the really good looking one, I'm the average) but I do, and attract more men too.

I would. On the 1-10 scale personality is worth 3 points either way. If a girl is a 6 on the looks scale and has a great personality she is instantly upgraded to a 9. While a 10 on the looks scale with a lousy personality immediately drops to a 7. So a girl with a good personality has to be pretty fugly to still get beat by an annoying beauty by my scale.

In time he most certainly will. The reason I say this is that after awhile, the so called good looking woman will becaome more and more unattractive to him the more her personality gets under his skin and pisses him off. Now as the the pretty, but average looking woman with the great personality, he will soon fall head over heels for her when he relaizes he can talk to her, luagh with her and have much more incommon with her. I use to think that Colin Farrel was a stunning man, til he opened his foul mouth, now he's very unattractive to me......give me Ralph Feines any day, he hasnt a potty mouth.......now that's attractive.

You're not going to settle this because it depends on the guy. If he wants to be in a relationship for a little while and isn't planning on marriage, then he'll stick with the annoying girl. But if he's looking for a long long term relationship and has those two options, he might go with girl number 2.

YES a man will only go with a good looking but annoying woman for one thing...SEX! If he is looking for a solid relationship he will go for the good personality. Why would you want to hang out with someone who is annoying? If you can't have a convo or good time afterwards then its pretty worthless!

It depends on the man.
Most guys I know who are looking for a relationship for the long haul will eventually tire of the beautiful, but annoying one.
But I do know a few very vain, very superficial guys who have almost no redeeming character traits themselves - and the only thing they're looking for in a girl is physical beauty - for them, they're only looking to upgrade to someone more beautiful - and the girl's personality has nothing to do with it.
So, on average, the answer is yes, but with some notable (and notorious) exceptions.

My best male friend has always been very handsome. He met a beautiful woman who had a killer body and was well off financially. He moved in with her. After about a year he packed a little duffle bag, got in his old Omega car and never returned. About two years later I still didn't know what her name was because he told me that she was simply a b*tch and no amount of beauty or money could take the place of a good-hearted, loving and happy woman. Then he asked me to marry him.

Looks are not everything! If she has an annoying personality I would dump her. I would definitely take an average looking woman who didn't annoy me!

No brainer. Hot women with bad personalities are too much work. Beyond having to deal with them, you have to worry who is hitting on them pretty much everywhere you go. By nature, a pretty girl with a great personality is much better looking than a hot girl with a bitchy personality.
