If you're ever going to try them you have to do it now. Hate to say it, but none of us is getting any younger. It's better to do your falling now when your body can rebound better from the inevitable falls that come with learning.
Anybody who looks at you like, "you should know better" are jealous that you have the guts to try 'em.
