Your ends are straight because they were week to begin. Like I said the color and whatever chemicals you used prior to the perm are what caused the perm not to take. If your hair was in good condition before the perm you would have curl not straight, wave and than straight again. You danaged your hair before and the perm did it in. The only thing to do is cut it and condition the heck out of it.

Honestly, that is the only thing that could possible have happened.

Your best bet is to straighten by blow drying or with a straightener so the hair isn't three different textures. Are the ends fried? You might need to get the ends trimmed. Definitley ask to speak with the manager about this.
