What is the number you call to verify a patrol (police) car?

You would call the Police Department that owns the car.

example: Sunnyvale Police Department
Headquarters- Phone number 505-555-5151

Most patrol cars are VERY well marked and have a large number of lights on them. If you are signaled to pull over (lights and siren) I would recommend pulling over. However if it is a vehicle with 1 light and is not marked you may want to drive below the speed limit to a local fire or police station, if more cars start to follow you that are marked pull over immediately.
