I'm gay and have a crush on a straight guy, i don't know whether the guy wants me or is just being friendly, because 1 minute his happy to see me and the next his giving me the cold shoulder. My friends say i should delete his number and 4get about him, I've tried but i just can't stop hoping, i really can't bring myself to deleting his number. Am i holding on nothing and causing myself pain?

The guy is apparently straight. He's not going to risk his reputation by getting with you unless you guys meet in Alaska. If he knows you are gay he may be going out of his way to make you feel comfortable and one of the guys out of concern and kindness. If this is in school, you are not there to arrange conquests. Keep his number, he may become a friend. Are you going to ruin a friendship just because you have fantasies that cannot be fulfilled? Not all good looking men are living and working and studying for you. Stop the fantasy and get with the real world. You will be happier.

I feel that you are causing yourself pain. This guy might like you but not in from of others. So that alone should tell you something. Find yourself a nice gay guy, at least you will know wether you are coming or going. This thing with the straight is not going anywhere. Leave it alone, go find yourself a good man that you can call your own. You will be able to go out with him freely, Good luck, my friend.

I feel very sorry for you. Being gay puts you in the minority group and people who are straight especially guys would not like to be too close to you.

Look around and may be you can find one that feels the same way as you. He has already shown that he doesn't like you the way you like him, so take it easy and start your life again.

Stop your pain and life goes on.

If love doesn't hurt us, then what else is it there for. He might be confused, don't ignore him, because then he'll never know what's going on. But don't be pushy either. Try inviting him to a "family dinner", then pretend like they call your cell and say that they can't make it....show him a good time:) Good Luck.

If he's straight, he's straight; if you can be his friend, be his friend; if you can't, get away from him, it will only cause you more heartache. You can hold onto to hope (but don't obsess over it) If it is something that is meant to be, it will be in time.

If you'd rather be friends with thim than nothing at all, just be friends and don't make a move, but if you want a relationship or nothing, tell him how you feel and see how he responds.

You'll never know if you don't ask.

Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.... Stop harrassing the guy. Its sexual harrassment even when the man pursues another man!
