What makeup looks best with blue eyes? I much rather have emerald green eyes, but I figure I'm stuck with the blue, so I should acknowledge them.

Thanks. I'm definitely going to try out your tips. Oh and I know that getting colored contacts is a possibility, but I rather not spend my money on them when I don't really need them. I just think emerald green eyes are really pretty.

I, like you have blue eyes. My hair is blonde. I LOVE to use golds and purples together with my blue eyes. Here is an idea for going out. Try using a cream liquid eye shadow (they stay on a long time, dont crease, and last a while). Here is what I do:
1. Apply liquid eye shadow in a shimmery cream on your lid and a bit above your crease. Let it dry a bit.
2. Use a purple shadow on the outsides of your eyes, blending it to about the middle of your eye and into the crease.
3. Use an intense gold on the inside of your eye and bring it almost to the purple, but not quite.
4. Mix the gold powder shadow with the creamy shadow on the back of your clean hand, and dab it between the purple and intense gold. Line with either gold or matching purple liner, on the outside corners of your eyes.
5. Mix the intense gold and purple together and smudge bottom of your eye, from the outside corners of your eyes to almost the inside corner.
6. Mascara, black, make it intense, and you have an awesome look for going out and embracing your blue eyes! I hope you like it!

Use a copper liner and gold/tans/browns for shadow coverage.
It makes the blue more defined.
If you want emerald green eyes, get colored contacts. Even if you don't have an need for viewing assistance. They are called Plano lenses and you can get them by seeing a Eye Dr. and letting him or her know of you desire.

Warm, rich earth tones really make the eyes shine and appear larger. Think browns and greens.
The smoldering smokey look, grays and black, is always flattering--thought it actually makes the eyes appear smaller.
Whatever color you use, be sure to use a darker shade on the crease. A light white or pink on the eyebrow bone is also quite flattering.
Have fun experimenting! =)

Gold and coppers bring out brown eyes, like the first answerer said, but Silvers can bring it out too. Almay I think makes color coordinated shades to the color of your eye. Check out the colors and then buy them in the brand of your choice.

Gold and coppers bring out blue eyes. Purples usually bring out greener toned eyes.

Blue or gray eyes smolder with coppers, browns, or a more dramatic navy. When in doubt, go for deep, warm brown - it's flattering with any eye color!

I think browns and greys look great with blue eyes, you could always buy coloured contact lenses non prescription, just for a change of colour!!

If you warm skin toned use copper for your eyes. If your cool skin toned use light blue.

Try some icy pinks, silver, gold and violets. They will really make your eyes stand out.
