Oh Goodness! Killing is horrible!!! Turning against America is horrible!!! I would kill myself. I'm not a Christan, but killing innocent people isn't right....that lowers you to a terrorist. And Turning away from America will turn you into a terrorist....so, either way It sucks. But...If forced to make a decision......America. I would just hope that the Almighty and the people would understand.

I don't kill anyone for Jesus. I don't care about Jesus, for when I called, God did not answer me, not through Jesus, not through anyone. I'm just American, and I don't kill people. Plus, if I were forced to make that choice, the enforcer would be smacked with a frying pan.

IF forced to Kill by someone, you wouldnt really be killing in the name of anyone or anything, it would simply be something you were being forced to do somehow.
Even men and women in the military are forced to kill, but always in self defence as well as protecting their country. They are not told to go out and kill for killing sake.
We as Christians do not kill in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. We are told to love the person and hate the sin.

Being a Christian comes before being an American, so if as an American I am ever asked to do something that goes against my Christian faith, I must choose my faith. At this point, I can't think of any examples where I would need to kill Americans in order to stand for Jesus. A more practical example would be how some German Christians in WWII defied their government by hiding Jews and protecting them from the Nazis. They chose their beliefs over their country.
In response to your part about Christians in the military are "killing for Jesus" . . .
Each Christian has to search his or her own heart on the issue of fighting for our country. Killing within the context of war is recognized as sometimes necessary in Scripture. Some Christians can't come to terms with any killing and become "contentious objectors." I don't know where I stand exactly. I do know that I honor and respect those who choose to go and fight and that if no one did, we wouldn't be free for very long--a strong military is very important to our survival in this world. I also believe that when Jesus spoke of "turning the other cheek," he was speaking about us dealing as individuals with individuals and not about nations dealing with nations.
I know Christians who choose to fight on behalf of our country and on behalf of the innocents of other countries, but I don't know any who really would describe it as "killing for Jesus." They see it more as a necessary part of promoting justice and protecting the oppressed. In Scripture we are told that the wealthy and prosperous will be held to account for what they were willing to do or to sacrifice on the part of the oppressed and mistreated. In light of that, killing those who murdered, pillaged, and raped their own people could be seen as just.
In response to your "Nazi bottom line" response. There were many, many Christians killed right alongside the Jews in concentration camps. Yes, there were Christians who turned a blind eye to what was going on around them, just as there are those who do today. Only God knows for sure who were and are the true followers because he judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart, but the Bible does say that there are actually far fewer true believers and followers of Jesus than there are those who claim to be.

**** religion. Its only for nutters. If you want to kill someone then kill them. Dont hide behind your bullshit religion for a reason. I would not be able to choose between an American and a Christian. If i had to kill one it would depend on the two people and not there beliefs or there diet.

Being a Christian, it is commanded not to kill.
So, if one kills, they are not obeying the order of Christian, and thus should not be call a Christian, at best, perhaps may be call, seeker of Jesus.
Being an American? Hum . . . . I can't see anything good out of it. Let those who know speaks.

The old saying goes "For God and Country" Okay? But Jesus would never condone killing for His sake .Man might and blame Jesus for it but he has to face Him one day.If I was in the service and i had to face a traitor of America ,I wouldn't care what he said he was ,I'd smoke a Benedict Arnold rather than let him give secrets to the enemy.
