I think , the question is not to start of finish a love affair, but to keep your love relations going or how serious you are about the love .If you are serious abt your love , both are difficult for any one.So there no need to think what is more difficult to finish or to start

Starting should be natural and happen on it's own to be a "true" love affair..it doesn't need help.
So ending "finishing" is the more difficult. Especially if you still love one another...sometimes they have to be ended anyway - and if love is still there, it's all the more difficult.

Finishing an affair. Like any relationship we get used to someone being there and it's hard to be on your own. If it's not something you wanted to let go it's even harder to let go of someone you love even if it is for the best.

i think it is hard to finish a love affair because when you start a relationship with someone you have the best hopes and expectation of something new in your life and its always hard to let go of real love

Finish of course because in the begining you are full of expectations and hope. At the end you have to think about filling a void and that can be so hard.

Depends who it is and what method you have of doing it.
If you are a nice person its hard to break up and if you are mean and down to the point its easy. To start an affair its all about confidence, and your appeal.

Finish. .....u may start bc you are having problems but once those issues are resolved in your marriage/relationship then u must finish and if the other party doesnt want to then you have nothing but HELL on your hands!!
