I have seen his work on posters and had a window ornament with one of his pieces on it. He specializes in paintings of ocean life- killer whales, dolphins, etc. I tried to google him unsuccessfully- It may be be some combination of "eric" or "christian", "reise", and maybe "larson." Forgive my lack of art knowledge- thanks.

Thank you everyone - Christian Riese Lassen is the artist I meant. As for the person whio left the nasty response- why bother? It was a completely harmless question.

His name is Robert Wyland. I have actually met him in person at the San Diego County Fair. He paints murals all over California. You can see him at the Santa Maria Boardwalk.

It sounds cheesy to me. Kinda like those pictures of a fair maiden with golden tresses looking at a unicorn.

Try www.allposters.com ... It is an awesome art website that lets you look up artworks by genre, artist, subject, etc. Maybe you'll find your artist.
