In this particular class of mine, this guy in the row ahead of me often stares at me....I don't know what to think of it. I hate to keep playing the shy card, cause I wanna get over being shy....and I feel it's worked against me in the past. It's hard for me to talk to him, even though I'm dying to know why he stares...
But how should I take this?? Is he interested in me?? Is the class just that damn boring, that he'd rather stare at me taking notes, lol. (it is boring) HELP!!!!

If he is admiring you, then he should make it evident. Otherwise his actions are like advertising in the dark. "He knows he's doing it but nobody else does".
I mean...what does he expect you to do from his staring...jump up and say "OK you got me...I'm yours"? Just remain shy...or you may even get annoyed. Last time I looked just blankly starring at somebody got you nowhere...except maybe a trip to "Jerksville".

he's looking, he's interested, so you've already eliminated the worst case senario of being shot down. just talk to him, what do you have to lose? don't be shy, take a chance, it'll pay off.

he probably likes you. or try asking him be like.."hey, i noticed you always look at me..what's up with that??" try to sound sarcastic but at the same time try to make the question serious.
