When he never approaches you, look you in the eyes, call you or instigate any communication. If you have to make all the advances, then he may be just trying to be nice when he talks to you. If he asks you and calls you on his own, you may have a chance.

Alright, being more specific here would help, but that's probably one of life's greatest mysteries. Lots of signs a guy likes you are also signs a guy doesn't like you. But my number one signs are:
1. He looks at other girls more than you.
2. If you flirt with him and he makes annoyed faces or anything while talking to you.
3. If he's not showing many signs of liking you.
4. Does he ever say the first word? Does he greet you before you greet him? If not, that's bad.
5. Does he look at you? If not, that's bad.
Yes, there are excuses like shyness, but if he shows sign number one in addition to the other ones or he isn't normally shy, try another guy. You can never be sure, but sometimes you can be pretty sure.

Normally he will avoid you, such as never calling and not answering your phone calls. He wont ask you for dates. If you have this question then it is more than likely he is looking for someone he feels has something more in common with someone else other than you... sorry if this is blunt but truth is always best. Find someone that sincerely likes you and is concerned about your feelings.

Does not look at your or talk to you. He will not even give you the time of day. If you try to go after him, he will leave. He may also be rude to you, not in a fun way. You will know if he really does not like you.

Thats the thing about boys.. you can't tell. I mean either they play shy or really flirt. You never know which one they do when they like people.

he usually gives you a sign like he's avoiding you or he's telling you that he likes someone else in front of your face..or sometimes, rude guys just tell you they don't like you.
