Tuaca is the best. It's an Italian liqueur - lightly sweet, amber colored and based on fine, cask-aged brandy, possessing a rich fruit-like flavor of vanilla and citrus.
Put the two together and you have a "Hot Apple Pie"

It'll add a nice bubbly touch, but it is, unfortunately, quite expenive. Otherwise you could make your Hot Apple Cider unique by making it into more of a sangria-type drink!

you know what you should try instead? Try mulled wine. you buy a "southern red" wine and mulling spices and add them to a crock pot and let it sit and warm. You can also and orange slices. Ladel it out and sip it. It's delicious and sweet and the spices are delicious!
PS you can buy mulling spices at wineries and probably liquor stores.

if you like rum, spiced rum or plain rum.maybe a touch of hot dam, if you like it.or an orange flavored liquer, nothing strong cuz you don't want it to overpower the apple flavor.
