Hughes proved their first fight was a fluke and won by ground 'n pounding him after outstriking the gassed Penn in the third round.
Penn almost won the fight in the second round though.

Penn gained the 1st 2 rounds, yet interior the 0.33 around the wrestler outsruck the striker/grappler. Penn tried to take it to the floor yet Matt ruled and massive Jonh Mcarthy stopped the combat after Matt Hughes pounded him out.

This fight went just like I thought would but I thought Hughes would take it in the 2ND round Penn did look good in the First Two though. After those comments from GSP Matt is MAD!!!!

the first fight was not a fluke. Matty lost because Penn was better and Penn won the 1st & 2nd rounds and Matty was desperate and got lucky
