I would never do it right away, I do not think that I would even do it unless the girl asked me to. So I am not really sure what the big deal is. I bet a lot of guys do it so they can get a bj or something like that. If someone shows it to you, why not say what it the big deal.

That's a primal instinct. We (Not I of course) do it as a kind of show off of one's fertility.
Think of it like this. When the male spider does his silly dance, does the female sit there and think. "Wow, he looks completely rediculous... Who the hell does he think he's impressing?" No, it doesn't. Because it's a stupid spider that knows only how to mate, then eat it's partner.
That's why Humans are smart. But not smart enough to outsmart Nature's Schematics.

It's very complex, but yes, he thinks it is something YOU may want to share his pride in.
Doing this can be placed in the perversion category, and subject to arrest ,citation, and prosecution as a sexual offender. So tell him to zip it up, or you will turn him in.
You could look at him pitifully, and say, "I'm so sorry". it's just not big enough!

Some guys do have a big one(unlike me) and think it is the most important thing that women can think of.
I happen to think the Vaginia is nuch more important,
