Well if neither of you are psychos, it can last. I have made couple of great friends online. I chatted with a guy from spain during one year, we met here in the states and he is great. we are still great friends.
Just be careful and dont do something stupid.

I've heard on some commercials about people getting married. But personally I wouldn't do anything more than talk with someone online. People can lie and you'd never know the difference. Or they could be psycho. Never give out any personal information. Age, sex, address, etc..

it can go as far as you wish it to go as strong as the two people in it our.
so if its been going on for like six years and the both of you keep talking dispite what ever the situation is or has been. the i would say from experience that the both of you have somthing that no one can get in the middle of

A very close friend of mine just told me lastnight she has met her knight in shining armor through the internet ..they have talked for 2 years as friends and this past year have gotten so close they are in love i feel so happy for her ..she says they talk for hours upon hours ..they are meeting soon in real life and im very happy for her

not very far..for one, you don't even see each other like you don't hug, kiss and you don't express love at all. your communication is good but it's not good enough..try having a relationship with someone you can at least have contact with like hugging and stuff.
