scientsts at National Institute of health. Toilet seats are very dry therefoe bacteria die out quickly. Cutting boards can have a lot of bacteria. But they doi not have that much bacteria if they also dry our, and are made of wood. there is some shemical(s) in wood that kills bacteria. Plastic cutting boards are loaded with bacteria and drying them does not do that much good. Always wash all surfaces that come into contact with raw chicken juice, eggs or egg products. (mayo etc.). to prevent Salmonella food poisoning. One or the most contaminated area of the house are kitchen tap aerators and the lip of can openers. They are rarely cleaned and always damp.

That's an old saying, kind of like the "more germs in a dogs mouth..." saying.
You don't know that there are more germs on MY cutting board than in and on MY toilet.

Hi. That is not a correct statement. A wooden cutting board has the ability to kill a lot of bacteria that a porcelain surface will not. Something to do with the wood fibers.

Soak your cutting board in bleach and all the germs will killed. Wash really well with dish soap after wards.

If you have a microscope, you can take a look yourself. Unbelievable. I suggest you don't sit on a dirty toilet and don't eat food off a dirty cutting board.

your mom did, she noticed how stupid her kids were, and realized she'd been feeding them food from her dirrty cutting board.....believe me, it explains a lot!!!
