A 9mm Luger round with a 124 gr. bullet will leave the barrel at roughly 1100fps.
The speed of sound though air at sea level and 15C is 340m/s, 761mph, or roughly 1116 fps.
This would be a very close call. Published velocities can very as much as 100 fps plus or minus.
Probably the only way to answer your question would be to chronograph some loads. My guess is that some rounds would break the speed of sound, some would not.
With hand loads, loaded a little on the "hot" side, you might be able to consistantly break the sound barrier.

Actually, most firearms do break the sound barrier. Including most standard 9mm loads. The glock 19 is a great pistol, I've got a 19 and a 22.

All standard firearms can produce a round that can break the speed of sound. I'm not sure about the glock 19, but if it fires 9mm rounds, then it can break it.

Most will, but their are sub-sonic 9mm loading with 147 grain bullets.

It might, if you could get it unjammed. Just kidding folks.
It may not break the sound barrier but it can outrun most any living thing.
