What is the perfect gift to get a girl on the first date that is funny, but not candy or flowers ?

make her a CD of some of your favorite songs because you can tell a lot about people from their music.

Ask who her favorite actors are. Maybe she likes some of the really funny actors. Maybe she likes Adam Sandler, Jim Carey, ...Maybe you can ask her if she likes romantic comedies and if there are any that she hasn't seen yet that she really wanted to see but never got the chance to; if so, bring her a funny/romantic movie with a ribbon nicely wrapped around it. Also bring her a single flower such as a lily. Tell her the dvd is for when you two have your first 'movie date' some time in the future. It lets her know that you have been thinking about her and that you look forward to spending time with her even After the first date. It is cute and flattering.
Or...Do you have any talents? you could write her a beautiful poem and laminate it with clear tape so she can have it for a long time and give her the single lily. or you could draw her a beautiful picture and frame it and wrap a ribbon around it and give her the single lily or whatever her favorite flower is. She will like these type of things because they are from the heart and you put time and thoughtfulness into them.
