OTC (over the counter) Claritan is a very good antihistamine. It's also available in generic form, and that is just as effective.
Benedryl (and it's OTC counterpart) is a good one also but it makes you SLEEPY.
I took benedryl everyday as a kid, due to food allergies. I outgrew the allergy but every so often I will break out in hives. The generic Claritan is awesome.

I don't know about that but they did take a lot of those kinds of drugs and moved them behind the counter so you have to sign for them because meth makers use these drugs to make their wares. So, I'm not sure if that's one of them or not. Ask the Drug store about it.
