Atheist can answer to, you'll just bash what IM going to ask but it's your opinion.
I just read 2 stories that made me bust into tears and I was just telling my huband today, DO you ever want GOD to say that's it, I've had enough and end the world as we know it?
Sometimes I don't think I can take the pain of hearing one more bad thing happening to innocent children
Please mature answers

KINGREEF. no I dont drive my hubby nuts, lol. I do have thick skin but I have small children and I cannot imagine them being taken away from me. IF YOU dont get upset when children are brutally murdered then there is something wrong with YOU.
For a long time I gave up reading and watching the news. I think im just gonna have to cut it all off again

...It's a reminder to us that this is a sinful world.
...I sure don't like to hear bad news, but unfortunately, that seems to play better (get better ratings?) than good stuff like on TV. The evening news is about tabloid stuff for about 20 minutes until the world news, local news, weather, and sports comes on.
...I hate this obsession the news media has with very perverted stuff. What has infuriated me lately is that pervert who swore he was with Jean Bonnet Ramsey when she died. He was found to be lying. The media seemed fascinated with his lust for this child, and just kept playing it over and over, his thoughts about her and everything. Not one of needed to hear that.
...I am looking forward to Heaven, where we won't to hear this stuff, but, rather, we'll be with loved ones, praising our Savior.
..."No more sorrow, grief, or pain, all the time will be the same,
So happy I'll be (so happy I'll be) for evermore."
From the song, "So Happy I'll Be" by Lester Flatt & Earl Scruggs and the Foggy Mountain Boys

Though I grieve over the things that happen to children I'm not ready for God to chuck it. There have been times when I've decided to stop watching the news. Now I use the bad news as an opportunity to pray for a good outcome. And I use good news as a reason to praise and thank God! For instance, the abduction of newborn Abigail from her home last week. I was not alone in praying for her safe return to her parents. I was heartbroken when I heard about her abduction and that her mother's neck had been slashed. But I kept on praying that Abby would be safely returned to her parents and she was. That was cause to thank God!
You must realize that there is a very real war going on, one that we cannot see. It is a war between the forces of good and evil. Evil can only win when we stand by and do nothing. Let us bombard heaven with our prayers for the good things of the world and the strength to fight against the evil. God bless!

Yes, I agree it is very difficult to hear horror stories about young children, especially because our maternal instincts are so strong, but always remember that God is able to undo ALL the bad effects of sinfulness. If he wasn't, he would not even allow it to continue. But, since he is, there is much good that will come from this time of allowing wickedness as many will have time to see that humans are not capable of ruling themselves and God has the absolute right to rule over us. Plus, remember, that new babies are being born daily and they would not even exist if God had ended everything last year, last month or last week. They also will be given a chance for everlasting life.

The problem is the punishment doesn't fit the crime, people should be punished, severely.it will stop a lot of it .Evil can't be stopped if good people won't stand-up.People need to contact Senator's and Representatives and say hey, enough is enough,if you don't act you may not get re-elected.Here we are in the 21st century and people are doing those hideous things, what kind of civilization allows this ?It is admirable you have enough compassion to cry for the children, they need more than tears, they need a strong voice. God will not end the world because people ask Him to.

I believe that what you are feeling is just a small reflection of the heart of God. Mankind causes God to grieve, and yet, he withholds his wrath and judgment because "he is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."
Take those feelings and turn them into actions on the behalf of the innocent and prayers for the victims and for their victimizers. I pray through my local newspaper every day. It's the only way I can have peace about all the turmoil.
God Bless.

Yes the heartbreak is so overwhelming.
I too cannot fathom how someone can do that to innocent children.
We hear about postpartum.... but that was not associated with any of these.
Our world has gone upside down. The innocents are the ones that are destroyed.
God in all His goodness (we cannot understand it) continues to allow this world to keep on going.
We know it cannot be long now until He returns. The signs are all around us.

We are living in a world tainted with the manipulative influences of Satan. Unless they pray for atonement, while stricken with insufferable penitence, those and every heinous souls are damned to an eternal penance of hellfire. As a Christian, I do at times feel as though that I want the advent of our Lord and Savior Christ to occur now, but God knows exactly what he is doing. Just knowing that this chaotic bedlam we call "reality" is soon coming to a close gives me strength to shrug the day's augmented stress and continue with my life...
I can already feel the grace the of a perpetual bliss from a deserved residence in Heaven wrapping around me as I type this missive. God bless.

It makes me sick when these things happen. People are sick, I wish God would just strike them down with a big bolt of lightening BEFORE they can pull off these horrible acts. I just hate watching or reading the news, I just want to cry every time I do. And yes, at times I would love for God to go ahead to end the world when I read these things.

I have felt that way MANY times! And I don't even have to click on the sites you posted because I've seen enough. The wicked will get their reward, but we must pray for the children to be protected from these monsters. The wrath of God is due to fall upon the children of disobedience - and I don't believe it will be much longer.

I understand what you are saying...I often feel this way....I cant stand the thought of innocent little ones who cant defend themselves being abused and hurt in any way.....I also carry this heavy heart at times for animals...they are so trusting in us and there are those who treat them with evil too......I also stop watching the news at times because I have a hard time dealing with all the hurt that the world seems to be full of.....But God is in charge and I know he sees all the hurt and pain caused on everyone...I pray he comes back quickly at times....
