Sounds like your boyfriend is ready to join a survivalist cult and move to the backwoods of Idaho. Are you ready to manage if this doesn't happen? What's the more likely scenario? An occasional terrorist attack, followed by an increase in security. Terrorists can scare people, but they're not very likely to end civilization.
It seems to me the better way to spend your energy would be to help civilization survive. Then you won't end up getting your head cracked open over a silly bread crumb.

A few more threats of natural disasters, etc, and people will be stocked up enough to be 'ready,' for a little while...
Question, what will us women be fighting over? Something a bit more then bread crumbs I hope. 'Course, maybe we are eating the bread...and not letting the men have any... lol Sorry guys, I'm kidding. ; )

Tell your bf to stock up on 22 and shot gun shells, they're the most plentiful. The higher calibre shells will run out faster, considering the mobs that will be after your few last crumbs.

Yes. I've had a taste of that due to not evacuating when Hurricane Katrina came. I went into my neighbors house (they evacuated) and got what I needed. I told them afterward of course. But we were scrambling to make it on a daily basis around here for a while.
