Half the lights on the radio don't work, speedometer no longer works, a/c only worked on high until last week, now it doesn't work...all this happened right after the warrenty ended! For a two year old truck it's really dissappointing. The Nissan's and the Toyota's are really looking nice these days! I hate to say it but now I see why so many people are buying foreign cars.....any info on how to let GMC know I've had it with thier over priced piece of crap!

Gee, have you had any of these problems diagnosed? It could be a blown fuse, for Pete's sake... And just because the vehicle is out of warranty doesn't mean your dealer won't take care of it for you. Give it a shot.

Go ahead and buy foreign from now on, they are perfect in every way. I tell that to all my customers who bring me their foreign cars to work on.

Don't worry that Toyota has recently had the biggest recall in automotive history, or that GM beat Honda in initial quality this year, or that GM now offers the best warranty in the biz. None of that matches your perceptions, right?

I hear everyone talking about foreign cars and just recently my husband purchased a Nissan but I have to say, I have a GMC Yukon and I love it. It has only had a couple things go wrong--very minor when under warrenty and now at 75,000 it is still running like new.

On all new vehicles there are some things that do fall out of the warranty arrena and need to be brought up to the vehicle manufacture so that they can note any serious defect that may need to be recalled. Not all recall are sparked by a vass number of complaints but when a dealer sees and denotes the problems and check their data with the manufacture they do issue some free fixes . I do recommed checking site listed below for recall for specific vehicle and problems.

Refuse to buy american made vehicles or "american cars and trucks." That is about all you can do right now. All american auto makers are losing so much money due to their poor products that they are going bankrupt. That being said, the only thing you need to do is look out for your own ***, repair any issues and trade in for the best deal possible or sell. Ford, GM, Chrysler are all going under, they did it to themselves. Buy foreign, closer tolerances, much more strict on their quality control means you get a better product for the long run.
