Hey. I'm sorry about the way he left you hanging. Though i am not sure what you mean by he never answered. Did he just walk away?
I say you must've liked him a whole lot to have mustered the courage to tell him. Way to go!!!
You've already put it out there and so for your peace of mind I suggest that you ask him whether he feels anything for you. Let him know that you have other options and that's why you need a response..so you can move on. Let him know it isn't a big deal if he doesn't feel the same.
When you get his answer, then you would've known that you did what you could about ur attraction.

you never know he could really like you and just is to shy or afraid to tell you. you should just flirt and be yourself around him. make eye contact.... if you end up finding out that he doesn't like you. that's his problem and he's missing out. and it might not have lasted that long anyway. hope i helped

IT MAY THAT HE NEED TIME TO ADJUST TO WHAT YOU TOLD HIM., OR HE DOES NOT FEEL THE WAY THAT YOU
DO, AND DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO TELL YOU. SO JUST
GIVE SOME TIME, THEN JUST TALK TO HIM, IF NOTHING ELSE TO TELL HIM YOU OK WITH WHAT EVER THERE IS
