My stomach is really rebelling. I'm alternating between feeling stuffed and feeling starved, and it feels BAD. I'm going to camp tomorrow and I'm not nervous, but I'm going to be stuck in a car all day -not driving- and staying up late so I really need to sleep. I've been overheated all day, and just started to cool off.

I feel like if I eat anything I'll puke...

Today I've eaten some potato chips, a turkey burger -just plain old turkey- some brussels sprouts, and a fair amount of grapes and strawberries. It's now 11:20 PM where I am, so I know I haven't eaten much today.

There's peppermint, chamomile and green tea in the house, if any of those are any good.

Try drinking some real cold ice water. It will shock your stomach and if you have something on your stomach that has maybe gone sour this will make it come up without hurting you as bad. It's kinda like a heathy lubrication. If you do have a sour tummy you wont feel better untill it comes up. If you don't have a sour stomach, it should naturally calm your stomach. I wouldn't take anything (medicine wise) that your not sure will help you. You might just aggravate the problem more. Water wont hurt you. Hope you feel better.

coke is known for calming the tummy wummy.

the fizzies will make you belch and release excess air in the stomach region and esophagus.. that will decrease tension in the muscles in those areas.

it can also help with hiccups.

some mint maalox is good also.

relaxing is best though you got major butterflies in your stomach there.

relax... lay down.. watch some movies you enjoy and get your mind off the stress for a while... it's ok also.. this is normal to be all twitchy before doing anything like this.

just don't stress yourself out 24/7 over it.. not good for the system.

:D

drink some water too, that will chill you out and keep your body temperature moderated. too.

Mint for some reason settles your stomach. Try the peppermint tea with some sugar. Also, saltine crackers work really well.

Try crystallized or just plain ginger, or try to get strong, natural ginger ale, like Reed's Ginger Beer.
Also calcium based antacids work well for me at least. Tums. It's safe to take a gram of CaCO3 every day anyway...

Listen to these people now, but I recommend you try a lot of different things to find what does it for you.

For me, nothing works better than milk. Cow's milk usually works and goat's milk is always better. Most people get upset by milk, and I get upset without it.

I fooled around with a girl whose stomach was best settled by BEER!
