Education begins at home. The BEST education there is out there is one that is supported and started by parents and family.
Family is what will help a child become a successful adult. No matter what goes on in school, if a parent does the best to be around, remain in the picture, and ask questions, a child will learn to make better choices (even if it's just because they know you'll find out).
If a parent does his.her best to find out what topics are being covered in school and finds ways to support their learning at home the child will learn more and remain interested. A teacher has (at least) 20 students to be concerned with...as compared to (maybe) 1 per adult at home....just imagine the possibilities!

I'm hoping and assuming that this is an opinion-based question.
My answer is a hearty NO WAY!
For one thing, when you say education, I tend to automatically think of universities/colleges. I'm only 36 (or an aged 36, depending on your point of view). But I know Harvard graduate students who I feel have ZERO common sense and can't relate with others (I live in Boston and work with them). And I know people without degrees at all who are successful in numerous ways...career, financial, awesome parents, relationships, etc.
Education comes from everywhere...not just school, whatever that may mean to you. I personally value actual higher education (I've a degree from a Big Ten Universiity). But I really think a great deal of the value of my education came from living away from home for the first time, being involved in extraurricular activities (I wrote for the school paper and am now a professional writer) and simply from being exposed to opinions I would't otherwise have been exposed to.
My personal, fairly educated opinion...NO...there is no "one best education." But there are a lot of great ways to be aware of what's around you that make everything into an education.

No; because every person is different and has different needs.
I, for example, want to become a journalist or a physicist, so apprenticing with a construction worker would be pointless. But for someone who wants to be a builder, a journalism course would be pointless.
In the end, it's the person that really matters. It doesn't matter how many accolades you have; in the end you have to do what you do. And that is in itself the best education of all.

No, of course not.
Your education is what you make it to be.
You can have the best teachers, go to the best schools, etc...............but it is up to you what you will learn. And only you can apply what you learn.
So, do what you want to do, go where you want to go, and make sure that you get the most out of it!

They don't teach that in school. They only teach theories.
