Video purportedly shows Americans burned By OMAR SINAN, Associated Press Writer.
CAIRO, Egypt - An al-Qaida-linked group posted a Web video Saturday purporting to show the bodies of two American soldiers being dragged behind a truck, then set on fire in apparent retaliation for the alleged rape-slaying of a young Iraqi woman by U.S. troops from the same unit.
The Mujahedeen Shura Council — an umbrella organization of insurgent groups, including al-Qaida in Iraq — posted a previous video in June showing the soldiers' mutilated bodies, and claiming it killed them. It was not clear whether Saturday's video was a continuation of that footage, or why it was released.
The new footage came hours after the posting of another al-Qaida video, an apparent re-release of a tape showing the execution of a Turkish hostage — by the man purported to be the new leader of Al-Qaida in Iraq.
The soldiers, just before they died, ask the world to forgive them for the Iraq war.

no, but the 14 year old did not desrve to be raped. On top of that she was killed by American troops, then have her whole family killed adn then have their house burnt. Did they really deserve that? At least the marines know that thier lives are at risk when they go to war, but the 14 year old and her family did not ask to violated in their own country and thier own house.

NO ONE deserves that and it's not only the marines dieing over there. The Army, the Air Force and yes even the Navy are all losing troops over there. And it's not only Al-Qaida doing it. People take their own lives everyday because they can't handle the stress. As far being sorry for the war, just the little time I spent over there, people support us what we are doing ten times more they did way back when during Vietnam. If you choose to help out or see how some of the troops truly feel...visit www.anysolider.com and write a letter of support or send a touch of home so that everyone knows we don't blame them for the war.
By the way, they are saying sorry for the war because they are being told too. I.E. "if Bush hadn't sent you over, you'd still be alive" or if not for your country retaliation, you would not have to die." It's their way to make us and the troops feel even worse about something we feel bad enough about.

No, our innocent Marines did not deserve that. This press report is "international flamebait." It is designed to make both Iraqis and Americans angry at the situation, but for different reasons.
I would like to pick up a newspaper and see a headline that says:
"Bin-Laden caught and on trial." You know... the one I should have seen back in 2001-2002?

Just as Americans are torturing many Iraqis they are torturing our soldiers. I don't think they deserved it at all and I feel deep remorse for the families of these victims. It is hard enough to lose a family member without knowing that they suffered a great deal of pain just before they were murdered.

War sucks. Lobby Bush to get the hell out of other people's countries, stop stealing their oil and to stop bombing, murdering and torturing them in our names -
These people are obviously pissed off - No one agrees with this type of behavior but if the our soldiers were back home where they belong this would never have happened.
(Also beware there is a lot of US generated propaganda about - even Nick Berg's father does not believe the US version of who beheaded his son)
i.e "People from Middle Eastern cultures believe that Middle Eastern people were not involved in (the video of his killing), based on the mannerisms, accents, behavior and appearance of the killers. A close inspection of the video suggests that Westerners may have been involved."

NO! They don't! I'm tired of the world being scared of saying anything wrong to bother the towel-heads!
The soldiers can't partake of pork, or things that might bother Muslims, but they can die to try and help their same sorry butts!
I've had it with the whole political correctness thing with these savage animals!

Here is the problem;
How do we condemn that behavior while we torture prisoners?
quote
"In India we believe that sinners are thrown into a cauldron full of boiling hot oil in hell maybe the American sinners did deserve it."
In India, you also believe that being thrown into that cauldron of oil is Gods responsibility,,, not mans

Nobody! - deserves that man! Those are called "War Crimes". It happened in WWII, Korea, Vietnam and now in the war against terrorism. But the terrorist don't care for human life. And that's an inhumane way to die.
