You are not half. If you believe in Christianity, then you are Christian. If you believe in Islam, then you are a Muslim. If you follow what you feel is right, you will always be complete. God bless!
Ps. "Pooh Bear" I tried to email you, because I actually have a question for you somewhat related to this, but it won't let me email you. Maybe you could email me sometime, if you don't mind.

I tried replying to your email but it didn't work. It keeps saying "user's email address has not been confirmed". I don't know what the problem is :o(

Your dad is a fake Muslim who does not understand the Quran and follows a false translation and a misunderstanding that see Christians as People of the Book.

Tell your dad to prove to you that there are Christians and Jews and Jesus in the Quran, and he definitely cannot.

You cannot be half anyhting.

There are no honest translations of the Quran today but the pure Arabic remains so you can use an English/Arabic dictionary and check some of the words yourself with a Roman transliteration of the Quran and see for yourself that there are no Christians and no Jews and no Jesus in the Quran.

Your Dad is a dunce.

sweet sweet pooh bear. He was my favorite character of all time. What you should do is read both Holy Books at your own leisure. What you believe will be determined between you and God. My other favorite charactor was a real person named Ghandi.. He was smarter than anyone that I know of in my life time and I have studied many. He said he was a christian and a Moslem both at the same time. Both Holy books were inspired by by the same all powerful God. The god of Abraham. was the author of both books. I am just now reading the Qu'ran, and so far I see no contradictions. I know there are easy to read Bibles and I assume there are also easy to read Qu'rans. Ask your parents for one of each and it might be a good idea if you all read both together. Do not feel pushed to make a decision take your time and study to show yourself approved.

A person is either lost, or they are saved; and completely Christian. There is no half-breeds in Christianity. If you have ever truly asked Jesus to come into your heart, and to forgive you for your sins, then you are totally Christian. If you have never done so, then today is the time to do so. God's Word tells us that today is the day of salvation. Regardless of what your dad may attempt to tell you, you are either lost, or your are saved. Jesus told us in John 8:32, that ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free (from sin). The truth is referring to Jesus Christ. And He also told us in John 8:36, that if the Son of God therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. This means that He makes you completely saved from every sin; not just half way. Do not allow your dad to confuse you. For God's Word also tells us that God is not the author of confusion. The best thing for you to do, is just be certain that you have asked Jesus to forgive you for your sins; and pray for your dad; that God will be able to open his eyes to the truth. Always love him, but do not allow him to lead you down the wrong pathway. God's Word also tells us, that if two or more agree on earth as touching any thing, then whatever they shall ask of God shall be done for them. So you and your mother must join together in prayer for your dad; and trust God to open his eyes, and change his heart.

In Islam every child is born Muslim (i.e. believing in one God). In Islam the child inherits Islam from the parents (in the case they are both Muslims) but all children take the religion of the father (unless one is Jewish and then the child is automatically Jewish because he/she has a Jewish Mother). One requirement of Islam is that if a man marries a woman of the book (doesn't apply today as that verse was talking about jews, Unitarian Christians, and Sabians before the time of Muhammad S.A.W.) the children HAVE to be raised Muslim.

In Christianity the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, gentleness, meekness, temperance and faith.

According to the Qur'an who is a true believer?

2:244, 3:140, 4:95, 8:74, 49:15, 9:20, 9:86,

Killing (qitl) and jihad in the cause of Allah is the hallmark of true Muslim believers. It is not a matter of moderate or fanatic. It is the distinction of a true believer or a rebel.

4:76,
Does this include atomic weapons?
8:60, 2:216, 4:74

Here is what Robbie Burns wrote and I think it can also be applied to jihaddists of today although it was written for Christians:
"On Thanksgiving For A National Victory"
Ye hypocrites are these your pranks
to murder men and give God thanks?
Desist, for shame proceed no further
God does ne want your thanks for murder.

Among Muslims there are those who:
a) jihad in the path of Allah with their wealth and their lives (including those who sit at home but give asylum to mujahidin 4:74) = true Muslim
b) those who sit at home (and do not give asylum to mujahidin or jihad in the path of Allah)
c) the handicapped (does not count as a category)
d) apostates (does not count as a category because they are not even considered to be Muslims and may even be killed like Sunni kill Shia)

In the Quran 4:95 it says:
The two are not equal: those who sit at home (and do not join the fighting) _ unless they have a reason; they are handicapped _ and those who [jihad] strive hard in the path of Allah with their wealth and lives. Over those who sit at home, Allah has excelled and elevated to a higher honor those who strive hard with their wealth and lives. Compared to those who sit at home, Allah will award a far greater reward to those who wage a struggle.

8:74 Those who believed, left their homes and waged a struggle for the cause of Allah as well as those who helped and protected them are really the true believers. There is forgiveness for them and a generous rewards.

49:15 The (true) believers are actually those who believe in Allah and His messenger and then do not waver (and do not entertain doubts). With their wealth and their lives, they strive for the sake of Allah. Such are truly the sincere ones

It's not possible. One cannot follow Christ and follow any other religion.

This is similar to saying that you're half democrat and half republican.

If your dad is Arabic, say, and your mom is European, then you're half Arabic and half European (provided that there are no other ethnicities/nationalities in the bloodline).

Your father just doesn't seem to understand Christianity. He is following a custom. Hence the confusion.

Tell them your mom is Christian and your dad is Muslim (it's really not the business of anyone, which faith you follow. If you want to tell someone which religious path you chose, go ahead.

If the issue is which religion you should practice, ask your mother if she wants you to practice her faith or your father's.

To choose being a Christian, is to choose Jesus as your savior and Lord, and have eternal life. Do you believe in Jesus Christ as your savior and Lord? Have you asked Him to forgive you of your sins and come into your heart and change your life? He loves you! Do you have a Holy Bible, the Bible the Christians use? I will pray for you and your family.
