i have a round head im wondering if there a hairstyle that will make my head less round?

Yes, a longer shag, or long layers bring out your check bones, and that is what u need to do, I also recommend framing ur face with the shortest layer hitting ur cheek bones to give the illusion of more of a heart shaped face. Also, longer bangs swept the the side with a side part helps break the face shape up. I recommend this style to alot of my clients with a round face. Also Color, or High lights around the face help create the effects of a heart shape face and brighten up ur skin tone. Good luck, i also say look thru a book or mag, and find lots of pics that u like and take them to ur stylist, she/he should be able to help u find the look for u.

One of the most important factors of any hairstyle is balance. The round face is as wide as it is long, and usually has soft rounded features. A hairstyle that adds height at the top of the head and lays close on the sides will create the look of a longer, more ideally-shaped face.

The last thing you want to do is add fullness to the sides of your head. So stay away from chin-length curly hair, or chin-length bobs. Instead, cut hair below the chin. Keep layers from your lips down, this will remove bulk and weight from the sides. Wispy, tapered ends also de-emphasize roundness.

Unlike girls with long faces, you can grow your hair long. Just avoid going all one length. Make sure you cut in some layers around your face to add definition.

Keep the style a little asymetrical, nothing parted down the middle, if you have bangs sweep them to one side, it creates a diagnal line the takes away from a round . If you have short hair, do not get a cut that is blunt and stops above your chin.

you should be glad you have a round face unles its really round if its got a ovalish part to it you can do any type of hairstyle but try a shorter hair(chin or shoulder) and curly, flip it to one side with angled/slide bangs...will look great!!!

the two look large on you I actual have the comparable face shape advert my hair is curly the comparable way. i regularly get my hair decrease with fringe and various layers so if i dont sense like straightening that day i could have great curly beautiful hair so get some fringe and various layers yet dont chop lots of till your going to cut on your ears by way of fact the cutest for around are pixi cuts and long hair
